KubeCon Europe 2022: Back to In-Person Events

I just came back from KubeCon Europe 2022 in Valencia, Spain. It was thrilling to attend a big event in person again after the pandemic. Here are the highlights of the conference, key talks, and my takeaways.

Back to the World

Going to Valencia was exciting but also a bit cautious because of COVID-19. But meeting the Kubernetes community again was very rewarding. KubeCon was my first big event in the Kubernetes world years ago, and I was curious about this year’s event.

The event was at the Valencia Fairgrounds with a record number of participants. Valencia’s good bus, train, and tram system made travel easy even without a metro.

Key Talks

Some highlights:

Some popular talks, like exploiting Kubernetes clusters via Prometheus servers, were too crowded sadly.

Final Thoughts

Valencia’s culture, beautiful buildings, and food were a great break from the conference. The city added to the overall experience. KubeCon Europe 2022 showed the strong spirit of the Kubernetes community. The event celebrated the journey through challenges and innovations at scale. Until next time :-)
